Hello, readers today we are going to learn about a very very important module and the title which is "Impact of modernization on education". Before I mention the impact I want to share my view on modernization so that you can understand it well.



What is Modernization?

Modernization is a process of social and cultural transformation. Modernization is a revolutionary change leading to the transformation of society into technological and civilized society. Modernization has brought rapid changes in the field of education. Modernization implies mainly on two things one is the transformation in material settings and the second is a change to the value system. Modernization has brought a change in the social, economic, political, and cultural life of the people.

The connection between Modernization and Education:


Education and Modernization are quite closely linked up with each other. Modernization has its own implications for education. The impact of modernization on education can be understood. Modernization demands that teaching methods should be changed in order to achieve better. The development of science has influenced the procedure so much that they are considered as belonging to technology themselves. In today's century, technology has changed a lot and today we have the use of advanced audio-video aids, recordings, televisions, teaching machines, and computers in classrooms.

We cannot deny that every country's modernization is 70% depending on scientific research. Modernization has changed the thoughts of people with different moral principles. Modernization helped a lot in adopting modern needs.

 Modernization has brought a change in social change like in way of thinking, dressing up, transportation, and communication. No doubt technologies development is a good one  but we should not forget human needs and thus should deal better

Contemporary education is an agent of modernization. Modernization through education thus right from the beginning in India has been confined to a subculture. Modernization should not be followed madly at the cost of human value. Children should learn to uphold a balance between the spiritual and material value of life while modernizing them. Modernization in education has been today an essential aspect of modern society.
